ObjBit is a local-only blockchain node with proof-of-work, UTXO accounting, an encrypted wallet, JSON-RPC, and a browser-based chain simulator.

Why it surfaced

This is an unusually specific piece of engineering: six native modules, zero third-party dependencies, a terminal dashboard, and a TypeScript simulator reportedly verified byte-for-byte against the node’s test vectors. Its insistence on binding only to 127.0.0.1 gives the whole project a charmingly serious sense of containment.
