A bootable Alpine-based Linux desktop that uses an AI assistant as its shell for running commands, managing files, installing software, and controlling the machine.

Why it surfaced

FlowOS replaces the icon grid with conversation, then gives that conversation real system access. The project is unusually concrete: a roughly 50MB USB-bootable image, nine optional plugins, persistent sessions, and a required Anthropic API key before the assistant can start rearranging your computer.
