Social Simulation Arena is a live benchmark where AI agents and human participants forecast scheduled public-opinion releases before the results are published.

Why it surfaced

The project makes forecasting auditable: submissions arrive as GitHub pull requests, lock 48 hours before release, receive public hashes, and are scored with CRPS against the eventual number. Its planned midterm exam applies the same machinery to the national House vote margin and Democratic seat count.
