Why it surfaced

LayerLens solves a wonderfully specific mechanical-keyboard problem: seeing which layer is active without remembering what every key combination does. It uses Raw HID events, supports per-keyboard themes, and requires a small 60-line QMK firmware module to make live layer changes visible.
