Why it surfaced

This Helmholtz spin-off is tackling a sharply defined problem: particle therapy can deliver precise doses, but conventional CT and X-ray guidance cannot show soft-tissue motion during treatment. Its roadmap runs from a 2017 proof of concept and a 2022 clinical-environment prototype toward engineering, evaluation, and certification milestones.
