Why it surfaced

DropWave makes a narrow promise and backs it with unusually concrete detail: 40 onset bands, 4× oversampled true peak, ITU-R BS.1770-4 loudness, and roughly 40 ms processing. The whole 2.4 MB app runs locally, with no network code, telemetry, dependencies, or licence ping.
