Why it surfaced

METC's classroom philosophy is unusually concrete: one sample lesson uses a bottle rocket to explore carbon-dioxide pressure and Newton's third law, with materials, safety instructions, and a four-step procedure. The site also preserves student voices about failure, prediction, and explaining ideas to peers.
