Why it surfacedThe site preserves daily four-panel comics published in Hong Kong newspapers during the 1980s and 1990s, including the signature working-class character 大隻廣. Its bilingual biography adds unusual depth: the artist’s experience as a dockworker, construction worker, factory laborer, street vendor, courier, and office clerk became the raw material for a vivid record of everyday social life.
