Why it surfaced

The typeface has been downloaded more than 1.3 million times from DaFont and FontSpace, despite the author's original note simply ending with “NOT FREE.” The page turns that abandoned commercial promise into a carefully documented artifact, complete with a live font tester and a fifteen-year paper trail.
