Why it surfacedExifMate reduces geotagging to a wonderfully concrete three-step workflow: save a named location, drag photos onto it, and finish. Its promise is unusually specific—no re-encoding, only GPS tags changed, with the rest of the metadata preserved—but the app is still in active development and not yet packaged for download.
