Why it surfaced

HelpMaps is built for low-connectivity environments and already lists deployments in Colombia and Venezuela, including a June 2026 earthquake response. Each deployment accepts public suggestions for local review and exposes verified points through a keyless, CORS-enabled JSON API for humanitarian applications.
