A local-first app for cataloguing fountain pens, inks, fills, photographs, and the stories behind a collection.

Why it surfaced

NibVault treats a fountain-pen collection as both inventory and personal archive: users can record nib details, ink pairings, fill history, swatches, photographs, and acquisition stories. Its strongest idea is privacy by default—no account, no advertising profile, and backups saved wherever the owner chooses—with an iPhone and iPad release still signposted as forthcoming.

Ice Does Not Count

August 12’s newborn domains include a rule-bound archive of enormous sodas, 27 family stories cut from one afternoon, a disaster-supply map with a 24-hour freshness rule, and an ocean bell that rings only when six conditions agree.

This is one of 1,000 discoveries in the 2026-08-12 Domain Arrivals issue.
