Built from the NYC Open Data dog-licensing dataset, it turns a large municipal record into a playful map of city life: 29.7% of names appear on only one license, while “BODEGA” belongs to just nine dogs. Its caveat that renewing dogs can appear more than once keeps the fun grounded in the data’s actual limits.
