A public photography project that renders mathematical objects with a custom instrument called the Eidograph Mk2.

Why it surfaced

Platonography treats attractors, fibrations, and other mathematical forms as photographic subjects, then computes them tile by tile on donated GPUs. Its unusually concrete machinery includes deterministic rendering, signed manifests, independent re-rendering, and a progress bar that is itself the expanding photograph.
