Podium is an open-source tool for managing proposals, reviews, sponsor sessions, speaker onboarding, and embeddable event schedules.

Why it surfaced

It replaces the conference spreadsheet with concrete workflow rules: conflicted reviewers are blocked from scoring, sponsor sessions are counted against contracts, and missing speaker materials trigger reminders. The MIT-licensed app deploys to the organizer’s own Cloudflare account, although the site candidly says its first migration from a commercial tool is still ahead.
