Puppenspieler reconstructs Passport 1.4, Directory Access, permissions, and installation services so the old Microsoft client can connect to something again. Its documentation comes from disassembling msnsign.dll and observing a working replacement, with the site even mapping the fragile four-step chain that makes the client dance.
