Why it surfaced

The site reduces its mechanism to “Gör. Tara. Ye.”: spot the edible ad on a billboard, LED strip, sticker, or video, scan its QR code—or upload a screenshot if it is on your phone—and eat the reward while supplies last. It is an unusually literal piece of advertising infrastructure, complete with the warning that a finished ad remains “eaten.”
