Why it surfaced

The destination is a substantial CIBC banking page, but the address doing the redirect is an unrelated-looking domain built from the bank’s name and “mobile verification.” That mismatch does not prove phishing, but it makes this a useful trust-and-identity specimen: check the address before entering banking credentials.
