An open-source iPhone and Apple Watch prototype that reminds golfers when they arrive at a saved course, then asks them whether to open Apple Workout.

Why it surfaced

The product draws unusually clear boundaries: it stores only saved course centers on the iPhone, keeps no account or GPS history, and never starts a workout silently. Its public source, state-machine tests, and candid note that on-course validation is still pending make the prototype worth a look.

Thirty Patents for the Grave
