A forthcoming iPhone app for frame-exact sprint timing, using 240-fps video instead of dedicated timing hardware.

Why it surfaced

Clocker turns a phone on a fence post into a timing instrument: cover the lens to start, measure the runner’s torso crossing the line, and preserve the frame before, on, and after the finish as evidence. Its unusually specific promise—serious timing for a nine-year-old’s backyard sprint—comes with unusually good copy and a clear technical mechanism.

The Largest Cat Has No Number

August 14’s newborn domains include an unnumbered giant among thirteen catalogued glossy cats, a shareable Visual Snow Syndrome simulator, two independent Colombian relief directories, and a snail farm with races, courtship, and its own Gazette.

This is one of 1,000 discoveries in the 2026-08-14 Domain Arrivals issue.
