A pre-release browser tool that counts the distinct colors in an image locally, with HueForge suitability as its central use case.

Why it surfaced

ColorSmith turns images containing hundreds of thousands of colors into a practical color-budget question for filament-based artwork, with examples reduced to 31–65 colors. The page also makes a clear privacy promise: image processing happens in the browser, and the tool is planned as a free HueForge plugin.

The Largest Cat Has No Number

August 14’s newborn domains include an unnumbered giant among thirteen catalogued glossy cats, a shareable Visual Snow Syndrome simulator, two independent Colombian relief directories, and a snail farm with races, courtship, and its own Gazette.
