An open-source voice-agent system that gives a physical device memory, speech, reminders, live answers, tools, and a configurable character.

Why it surfaced

Apollo takes the familiar AI-agent idea out of the chat window: you bring a body with a mic, speaker, and face, while the brain runs on infrastructure you own. The unusually concrete split between brain and body, plus a one-command setup and nine-chapter documentation, gives this project real technical and editorial presence.

The Largest Cat Has No Number

August 14’s newborn domains include an unnumbered giant among thirteen catalogued glossy cats, a shareable Visual Snow Syndrome simulator, two independent Colombian relief directories, and a snail farm with races, courtship, and its own Gazette.

This is one of 1,000 discoveries in the 2026-08-14 Domain Arrivals issue.
