An open research database consolidating Chinese foundation and social-organization records from 2004–2025.

Why it surfaced

RICF organizes nearly 1.2 million registry organizations, 64,261 organization-years, and more than 529,000 governance and staff records around the unified social credit code. Its charts, provenance notes, harmonization method, citation tools, and CC BY-NC licence make this unusually concrete public research infrastructure rather than a merely informative homepage.

The Two-Tonne Temperature Problem

August 15’s newborn domains include a live-aboard hydrogen airship with a two-tonne lift problem, a Japanese toolbox that explains its assumptions, an advisory-by-advisory Hawaiʻi hurricane archive, and a wedding-gift game about ungrateful poultry.

This is one of 1,000 discoveries in the 2026-08-15 Domain Arrivals issue.
