Rizo is a BYOK VS Code coding assistant that locks each chat to one provider while letting you switch model variants and reasoning effort within that provider.

Why it surfaced

The interesting control is the constraint: choose Claude, Gemini, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Kimi, or Free once, then keep the conversation on that provider. Rizo also makes cost and safety visible, routing calls through the user's OpenRouter key, showing diffs before writes, and requiring approval for shell commands and file changes.
