A live San Francisco civic dashboard combining transit, dispatch, aircraft, cameras, air, tides, 311 reports, alerts, and scanner audio.

Why it surfaced

The useful trick is that every feed shows how fresh it actually is: dispatch is delayed and incomplete, fire and EMS arrive as a daily batch, and traffic and aircraft are limited to the present moment. Its prominent warning—“NOT FOR EMERGENCIES — CALL 911”—makes the dashboard’s limits unusually clear.

The Two-Tonne Temperature Problem

August 15’s newborn domains include a live-aboard hydrogen airship with a two-tonne lift problem, a Japanese toolbox that explains its assumptions, an advisory-by-advisory Hawaiʻi hurricane archive, and a wedding-gift game about ungrateful poultry.

This is one of 1,000 discoveries in the 2026-08-15 Domain Arrivals issue.
