A pre-beta tabletop roleplaying system lets one person host the campaign on a laptop while players join from their phones and a TV displays the shared world.

Why it surfaced

AETHER has an unusually clear physical-table model: the host sees maps, turns, dice, and private notes; players get character sheets and turn information; and the room can use a shared screen if it wants one. Campaigns remain on the host computer, with open SRD data, custom content, and an API for connecting other tools.

The 240-Material Organ

August 16’s newborn domains include a 240-material perfume organ, a repeatedly saved JPEG cat, a ski tracker designed by a 15-year-old, and a searchable page claiming to contain 148,303 prescription records.

This is one of 1,000 discoveries in the 2026-08-16 Domain Arrivals issue.
