Why it surfaced

This is an unusually specific piece of systems plumbing: it takes snapshots before updates, blocks kernel upgrades when the ZFS module cannot build, guards EFI boot order, and lets users roll back from the boot menu. The audience is admittedly narrow—Omarchy users whose storage lives in the ZFS world—but the project explains exactly why it exists.
