DungeonMaster is a text RPG runtime in which rules, characters, locations, quests, and prose are defined as JSON, then loaded and played as a complete game.

Why it surfaced

This is unusually concrete game-making infrastructure: the engine claims no hardcoded attributes, damage types, conditions, or level curve, while its companion world, Aurendel, is built from the same format. Runs carry their dice state so the same choices can reproduce a playthrough move for move.
