An experimental protocol for letting human-controlled websites and AI agents declare, discover, and follow shared rules for identity, access, attribution, and reciprocity.

Why it surfaced

HUMIA proposes a concrete web mechanism rather than another vague AI manifesto: sites publish a policy at `/.well-known/humia.json`, while compatible agents can identify themselves and receive deterministic allow, limited, or deny outcomes. Its v0.3 draft is being tested against robots.txt and AIPREF in an interoperability pilot, giving the project an unusually specific answer to the question of how AI systems should cooperate with the people who publish the web.
