PHNTM One is a proposed Raspberry Pi-based AI assistant with a touchscreen, phone interface, and on-device model designed to keep conversations local.

Why it surfaced

The product makes unusually concrete privacy claims: Debian Linux, a Raspberry Pi 5 with 8 GB of RAM, zero telemetry, no account, and a local model that runs offline. It also explains the tradeoff clearly: an optional second mode can use the owner's API key for harder tasks, while showing when prompts leave the device.

The Song Resumes After the Story

August 19’s newborn domains include a Hawaiʻi road-trip radio that resumes each song after a GPS-triggered story, an offline Chattanooga recovery map, a 100 KiB operating system running Doom, and an archive of 169,588 Discord roleplay messages.

This is one of 1,000 discoveries in the 2026-08-19 Domain Arrivals issue.
