A Solana-based system for wiring transistor tokens and LATCH memory cells into permanent circuits, with a live Bitcoin-mining processor as its first demonstration.

Why it surfaced

TapeOut reduces computation to NAND gates and one-bit memory, then lets visitors wire those primitives on a browser canvas before pressing “TAPE OUT” to burn the tokens into an NFT circuit. It is an unusually literal attempt to make hardware construction a public, composable on-chain activity—and it openly admits that its contracts are not yet immutable.
