The Vernon Witness Experience & Museum documents the lived histories of Tulsa’s Greenwood community from the historic basement of Vernon A.M.E. Church.

Why it surfaced

Its mission is explicitly descendant-centered: to preserve, protect, and activate Greenwood’s histories through remembrance, education, and intergenerational connection. The homepage introduces a team of descendants, scholars, archaeologists, archivists, and preservation specialists, while framing the church itself as an essential witness to the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.

The Song Resumes After the Story

August 19’s newborn domains include a Hawaiʻi road-trip radio that resumes each song after a GPS-triggered story, an offline Chattanooga recovery map, a 100 KiB operating system running Doom, and an archive of 169,588 Discord roleplay messages.

This is one of 1,000 discoveries in the 2026-08-19 Domain Arrivals issue.
