Why it surfaced

Zahiri organizes the practice through five distinct forms: Safavid-period research drawings, collaborations, jewellery-scale weavings, printed objects, and old rugs cut and rewoven into new work. The site presents carpet not as a relic but as a “living grammar of pattern,” with commissions, teaching, restoration, and correspondence open in English or Persian.
