Lattice DDI and the case against the appliance

Why it surfaced

Lattice replaces the conventional DDI appliance with identical DHCP nodes sharing Postgres behind a UDP VIP, while keeping DNS out of the acknowledgement path. The unusually candid homepage says sales are closed, community accounts can download the beta, and the product already includes details such as DHCPv6 prefix delegation, NetBox integration, air-gap operation, audit logs, and signed entitlements.

A software-only platform for IP address management, scale-out DHCP, and DNS, with support for Active Directory, BIND, PowerDNS, and Lattice-managed zones.
