A MySpace-style personal page about Ojibwe identity, wild rice mapping, treaty rights, and workshop tinkering.

Landing page captured for the 2026-08-20 issue.

Why it surfaced

Martin Seeger presents himself as “just a guy from Minnesota” who maps manoomin with satellites, builds plasma-CNC projects, archives tribal codes, and reflashes light switches. The page’s guestbook, friend-space, live webcam, mood indicator, and “last login” details turn a serious civic and ecological life into an unusually convincing internet character.
