Why it surfaced

This pre-launch travel company rejects both the forty-seat coach tour and the unsupported solo expedition, promising groups of 8–12, three-night minimum stays, direct payment to local hosts, and a published breakdown of where the money goes. Its strongest design choice is editorial rather than visual: every journey begins with a historical question, not a destination, while the site uses in-house line drawings instead of stock photographs.

Rihlaya is preparing small-group heritage trips through the Levant, North Africa, and Andalusia, led by named historians, archaeologists, conservators, or craftspeople.
