Why it surfaced

Sumcheck does not merely extract text: it flags suspicious totals, lost currency symbols, unreadable regions, and confident OCR mistakes such as “inchided” for “included.” Its source is public, its runtime claims zero network requests, and its Chrome Web Store listing is still in review.
