Avanay — Ceramics from Chulucanas

Why it surfaced

Avanay gives each vessel a precise material history: clay is paddled against a river stone, fired in algarrobo at 700–900 °C, and reduced in mango-leaf smoke. Its proposed documentation is unusually tangible too—a cotton-rag letterpress record, graphite piece number, dry seal, and QR-linked photographic file for each work.
