Bench Degree sits between an encyclopedia and a formal degree: its volumes cover subjects including refrigeration and lasers, while electromagnetism, plasma, and power topics are still being written. Its unusually candid method is part of the project—the books are researched and largely written with AI, but claims are meant to trace back to primary documents, and finished volumes are explicitly described as complete but unproofed.
