Why it surfaced

Spiral makes a sharp case that machines—not humans—are the new consumers of data, then backs it with concrete machinery: immutable raw bytes, coordinate-aligned samples, as-of history, and model-ready tensors. Its underlying Vortex format was created and donated to the Linux Foundation, giving the pitch a technical artifact beyond the usual AI-platform fog.
