Why it surfaced

Its central idea is unusually concrete: rebuild an engagement from the surviving record, then let viewers inspect it as a film, browser scene, AR model, VR experience, or on-site replay. Examples include Pegasus Bridge, Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, and Camerone 1863, with the site emphasizing what the sources support—and what they do not.
