Why it surfaced

Leptris gives its systems-level thesis a memorable shape: three hares chasing in a circle, standing for speed and containment. The site backs that motif with unusually concrete claims, including one arena per parse, 438/438 W3C XPath tests, published benchmarks, and Ruby and Python bindings.

A pure-C99 XML 1.0 parser, XPath 1.0 engine, and SAX interface built around bounded memory and zero required runtime dependencies.
