Okavango Arts Exchange Paints Maun, One Wall at a Time

Why it surfaced

This is unusually concrete cultural infrastructure: artists from Botswana, South Africa, and the US will paint across town while local artists receive mentorship and materials through a fully funded residency. The site also invites residents to suggest walls, attend free public days, and help turn Boro into a place for art, food, fashion, performances, and games.
