Why it surfaced

The site refuses to turn a lookup into a verdict: each record quotes the original claim, names the register consulted, records the UTC check date, and supplies reproduction steps. It has one published record and one live resolver so far, but the rules—append corrections, never silently edit, and never let payment change a finding—make this a sharply defined piece of verification infrastructure.

A dated registry that checks business credential claims against issuing bodies’ public records and preserves what those registers returned.
