Why it surfaced

The site gives its imaginary town an unusually concrete civic texture: 8.1 square kilometres, 546 terraced houses, 1,010 wheelie bins, 28 streets, and 25 residents with places to be. It also documents the game’s construction in public, alongside playable details such as a police-car arrival, working daily routines, and a pub with twenty drinks to order.
