BeatTiming: Tap Tempo and the Producer’s Timing Bench
A private browser toolkit that turns tapped beats into BPM, note lengths, delay times, reverb timing, LFO rates, and other production settings.
Field notes
The tap estimator uses recent input timestamps, rejects isolated timing outliers, and starts a fresh measurement after a pause. Its surrounding toolkit covers straight, dotted, and triplet note values alongside tempo-synced delay, reverb pre-delay and decay, bars-to-time conversion, LFO rates, pitch changes, loop sizing, and sample-rate latency. The site also offers a printable BPM chart and CSV download, while stating that calculations remain in the browser without microphone access, uploads, accounts, or tracking.
