CandidPDF Has Receipts for Its PDF Remediation

The service accepts PDFs up to 60 MB and initially scans only the first 25 pages, then separates automated fixes from issues requiring human judgment. Its evidence section reports end-to-end validation of 20 public PDFs with veraPDF 1.30.2: 16,357 failed checks were recorded and 7,104 were removed by stages applied to every document. A separate structure-and-OCR stage removed 4,488 more checks on two files, but stopped when it could not safely infer a table.
