Img2MIDI Turns Pictures into Piano-Roll Notes

The converter reduces an image to a configurable grid, using horizontal cells for time and vertical cells for pitch. Foreground pixels become notes, with neighboring pixels joined into longer events before the result is rendered in a piano-roll preview and exported as a Standard MIDI File. Users can set up to 1,000 timeline columns, 400 pitch rows, a 30–300 BPM tempo, and background-detection options. A source-code link is visible, and the page says selected images are not uploaded or stored.
