MatJSON Gives Materials Standards a Machine-Readable Spine

The project organizes industrial materials information into separate but interoperable layers: intrinsic specifications, additional project or purchaser requirements, requisitions, evidence records, and compliance checks. Its schema vocabulary covers provenance, units, citations, identifiers, and extension rules, while the proposed public surface includes immutable versioned JSON Schema files, profile documentation, a registry, and synthetic examples. MatRecordJSON and MatCheckJSON are currently presented as concept-level or TBC components.
