Residual Intent, a diary for unfinished intentions
A proposed privacy-first browser tool for noticing the tabs, searches, and online tasks you started but never finished.
Field notes
Residual Intent proposes a browser extension that records user-approved traces of unfinished online activity, including abandoned tabs, incomplete searches, and half-finished forms. The planned processing model is local-first, with anonymized patterns leaving the device only when explicitly shared. Its illustrative dashboard groups “almosts” into themes such as Travel, Career, and Learning, while examples include 12 Lisbon tabs and a language-course form left half-filled. The current site is a free waitlist, not the product itself.
